Karessa Hinton, a chemical operations specialist with the 299th chemical biological radiological nuclear and explosive (CBRNE) team out of Maysville, Ky., performs a water decontamination of a mock casualty during a training exercise at Muscatatuck Urban Training Center in Butlerville, Ind. May 24. The 299th was training to become validated as part of the Kentucky National Guard's Chemical Biological Radiological Nuclear high-yield Explosive Enhanced Response Force Package (CERFP) which trains Guardsmen on how to react and respond to a CBRNE attack.
