Security Forces Remembers Those who have Fallen

Airmen from the 628th Security Forces Squadron salute the flag during the “National Police Week” retreat ceremony, May 18, 2012, at Joint Base Charleston, S.C. During National Police Week, Security Forces members honor law enforcement personnel who have fallen. In 1962, President John F. Kennedy signed a proclamation which designated, May 15, as Peace Officers Memorial Day and the week in which the date falls as Police Week.
