2012 Warrior Games

Lance Cpl. Carlos Garcia races in the Mixed 200 Meter Dash Wheelchair, where he would earn the bronze medal. He also won bronze medals in the Mixed 100 Meter Dash Wheelchair and the Mixed 1500 Meter Run Wheelchair events. The All-Marine Track & Field team won 31 medals at the 2012 Warrior Games; 13 gold, 11 silver, and seven bronze.

  • Marine veteran Cpl. Peter Park, from Colorado Springs, Colo., is awarded the gold medal for men's 200-meter dash wheelchair classification at Wasson High School. Park is representing the All-Marine team in track and field during the 2011 Warrior Games. The Warrior Games is an annual Paralympic-style competition for wounded, ill, and injured service members, May 16-21.
