The 3rd Ordnance Battalion soldiers trained with their Navy counterparts April 16-27 in preparation to assume the role of Joint Task Force Paladin in Afghanistan later this year. JTF-Paladin is the deployed joint task force responsible for counter improvised explosive device missions, explosive ordnance disposal missions, tactical site exploitation, weapons technical intelligence, forensics and counter-IED training within Afghanistan.
