Maureen Miller receives the Order of the Lincoln Medallion from Illinois Gov. Pat Quinn and Lincoln Academy Regent, W. Russell Withers Jr., on behalf of her son, Medal of Honor recipient, Staff Sergeant Robert J. Miller, during the Lincoln Academy of Illinois’ 48th Annual Convocation and Investiture of Laureates. Miller was recognized posthumously at the ceremony for his service as a citizen of Illinois and his heroism on the battlefield in Afghanistan
