Former members of Medal of Honor recipient, Staff Sgt. Robert J. Miller’s Operational Detachment, Maj. Robert Cusick, Sgt. Maj. Patrick Rotsaert and Chief Warrant Officer 2 Joseph Wilson speak with local media representatives from Springfield, Illinois about Miller’s actions on the battlefield which saved the lives of several of his fellow teammates. Miller was recognized posthumously as a laureate for the Lincoln Academy of Illinois during the Academy’s 48th Annual Convocation and Investiture of Laureates for his service as a citizen of Illinois and his heroism on the battlefield in Afghanistan.
