More than 25 service members were granted their new titles as United States citizens during a Naturalization Ceremony held on Camp Mabry, Texas, during the American Hero’s Celebration, April 22. City of Austin Mayor Lee Leffingwell, Police Chief Art Acevedo, City Council Member Mike Martinez and Texas Adjutant General, Maj. Gen. John F. Nichols, congratulated the service members with their new citizenship certificates following the special ceremony.
