Staff Sgt. Matthew Loucks, Bradley Fighting Vehicle system maintainer assigned to Company F, 1st Battalion, 66th Armored Regiment, 1st Brigade Combat Team, 4th Infantry Division, inspects the motorcycle of Sgt. Lethan Foxworth, motor transport operator assigned to Company F, during the spring motorcycle safety check ride April 5, at Fort Carson's Robert C. Stack Jr. Dining Facility. Before the start of the ride, soldiers had their motorcycles inspected by other soldiers to ensure operational safety. Inspections included checking the tires, controls, lights, oil, chassis and kickstand. After each Soldier's bike was inspected, they gathered around Defreese, who spoke to them about the route they would be taking, and the importance of safety.
