Col. Stephen Townsend, commander, 3rd "Arrowhead" Stryker Brigade Combat Team, 2nd Infantry Division, pins the Army Commendation Medal with "V" device to the blouse of one of his troopers, Spc. Jason Currie of Battery B, 1st "Red Lion" Battalion, 37th Field Artillery Regiment, who hails from Youngstown, Ohio, during an award ceremony on Camp Taji, Iraq, Sept. 6. Townsend was visiting his Red Lion troops just prior to their redeployment to their home station of Fort Lewis, Wash.
