A close up of one of the maps created by the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency for African Lion 2012. A team of three analysts deployed from the agency's Stuttgart, Germany, office, create maps for real world and exercises across Africa. This map, and hundreds of others, are being used for field exercises, aerial maneuvers and ship movement along the coast of southern Morocco by exercise planners and developers.
