Rodat District Tenant Farmer, Abdul Aziz, strolls down the sidewalk of the recently completed Rodat Agriculture High School, as U.S. Army Chief Warrant Officer 2 Richard Coplin surveys the instructional space. This high school will serve an important role in ensuring future economic growth within the agricultural sector of the Nangarhar province. Built in coordination between the Nangarhar Agribusiness Development Team V, 4th Brigade Combat Team, 4th Infantry Division and the Government of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, the school was planned in an effort to strategically place educational institutions in close proximity to agrarian based communities ready to source needed growth within this country ready to reclaim its once preeminent role in the world’s agricultural export industry.
