Plans for new facilities in Lashkar Gah take shape

Afghan construction workers build new Afghan National Police barracks and classrooms at the Lashkar Gar Training Center in Helmand province, Afghanistan, Feb. 21, 2012. The Danish/United Kingdom Provincial Reconstruction Team is working with NATO Training Mission-Afghanistan's Regional Support Command Southwest to build the center that is planned to be the training facility for all Helmand province-based Afghan police units.
