Walking the 'lonely walk.' Who is EOD?

First Lt. Dan Marvin, 787th Explosive Ordnance Disposal Battalion, removes a thermite grenade from its packaging, Feb. 15, 2012. The grenade will be used to destroy homemade explosives which were discovered by 5th Battalion, 20th Infantry Regiment, Task Force 1st Squadron, 14th Cavalry Regiment during a patrol in Shinkai district, Afghanistan.
