1st Lt. Chris Valine attempts to pass the ball during the championship match at the 34th Annual St. Patrick’s Day Rugby tournament held in Savannah, Ga., March 10-11. Throughout the tournament, the U.S. Air Force team had to win matches against both Army and Navy before reaching the championship game against Gypsy Rugby, winning 56-0. For almost 10 years, the U.S. Air Force Rugby team has used this tournament to prepare for the Armed Forces Rugby Championship which sees teams from military services around the world compete. Air Force has won the armed forces title eight consecutive years. The armed forces tournament is Aug. 17-20 in Glendale, Colo.
