Sgt. Dennis Halvorsen, an instructor with the 164th Regional Training Institute, oversees a group of Boy Scouts as they work with various table saws as a part of their merit badge training. Three troops of about 30 Boy Scouts from Bismarck and Fargo, N.D., traveled to Camp Grafton in Devils Lake this weekend to receive merit badge training from the soldiers of the Regional Training Institute (RTI) this weekend. Volunteer Soldiers from the North Dakota National Guard's (NDNG) 164th Regional Training Institute instructed the Boy Scouts, ages 10 to 16, on matters of plumbing and household repairs.
