Lt. Gen. Harry M. Wyatt III, director of the Air National Guard, right, shakes hands with Col. Mark Anderson, 188th Fighter Wing vice commander. Wyatt visited the 188th, Jan. 18, and met with unit and Arkansas National Guard leaders as well as officials with the City of Fort Smith. Wyatt also was able to gauge the 188th’s capabilities and assets during a helicopter flight over Ebbing Air National Guard Base and Fort Chaffee Maneuver Training Center, where the 188th’s Detachment 1 Razorback Range is located. Wyatt was able to observe an exercise at Razorback Range involving the 188th’s A-10C Thunderbolt II “Warthogs” and the 188th Security Forces Squadron.
