Brig. Gen. Therese M. O’Brien, the incoming commander of the 311th Sustainment Command (Expeditionary), receives the 311th ESC colors from Command Sgt. Maj. Gerald W. Capps, representing her assumption of command at the Capt. Nelson M. Holderman Hall Army Reserve Center, March 3. O’Brien assumed command from the outgoing commander of the 311th ESC, Brig. Gen Juan A. Ruiz, during the ceremony and became the first female general officer to assume command of the unit.
