A local from the Khan Neshin district washes in the ablution site of a refurbished grand mosque Feb. 25. Afghan construction workers, contracted by the Government of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan and coalition forces, refurbished the 300-year-old mosque, which was once a crumbling ruin in the secluded village of Khan Neshin, and has returned to be the centerpiece of the local government.
