Lance Cpl. Janet Karnsomprot, personnel clerk, 3rd Supply Battalion, was recognized for her ability to speak Thai during Exercise Cobra Gold 2012 and was employed to interpret during the exercise. The exercise demonstrates the resolve of the U.S. and participating nations to increase interoperability and promote security and peace throughout the Asia-Pacific region. 3rd Supply Battalion is a part of Combat Logistics Battalion 35, 3rd Marine Logistics Group, III Marine Expeditionary Force.
