Marine Corps veteran team member Lance Cpl. Chuck Sketch practices for the free style swimming event, which is part of the Marine Corps Trials held at Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton, Calif. Sketch, from Wildomar, Calif., will also compete shooting, and cycling. Over 300 wounded, ill and injured Marines, Marine veterans and international Marines and service members will participate in the second annual Marine Corps Trials February 16-22 aboard Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton, Calif. The event, which is hosted by the Wounded Warrior Regiment, will include individual and team competition in sitting volleyball, wheelchair basketball, swimming, cycling, shooting, archery, and track and field. Four teams, East, West, Veteran and International, will go head to head for team gold. The international team will have military athletes from seven nations, including the United Kingdom, Canada, France, Australia, Germany, Columbia and the Netherlands.
