Pfc. Satoshi Kondo, a medic with Troop D, 1st Squadron, 10th Cavalry Regiment, 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 4th Infantry Division, and is now a resident of Arcata, Calif., says the Pledge of Allegiance during a naturalization ceremony held at Kandahar Air Field, Feb. 10. Kondo was one of 36 soldiers, Marines and airmen who said the Oath of Allegiance to the United States, the Pledge of Allegiance and then received a certificate of their American citizenship.
