A red flag blows in the wind Feb. 4, signifying that Range 9S here has gone 'hot' for demolitions training by soldiers from 2nd Squadron, 1st Cavalry Regiment and 38th Engineer Company. The units, both of 4th Stryker Brigade Combat Team, 2nd Infantry Division, constructed and detonated explosives as part of Exercise Raider Focus. The month-long brigade training exercise is designed to challenge the ability of leaders and Soldiers to conduct full spectrum operations as a combined arms team.
