training exercise held Feb. 2 aboard Marine Corps Logistics Base Barstow’s Yermo Annex. While at MCLB Barstow, Gietl, a Springfield, Ill., native, conducted traffic control and checked vehicles exiting the base to ensure they were included on the manifest during the exercise.
