Farzad Rahimi, a local Afghan child located in the Kabul area, is examined by Maj. Zachary Turner, a pediatric cardiologist assigned to the 10th Sustainment Brigade at the Craig Joint Theater Hospital located on Bagram Air Field, Afghanistan, Jan. 26. Turner used an echocardiogram machine to look at the structure and the flow of blood to the heart discovering that Rahimi has a ventricular septal defect. The images of the heart will be sent to HeartGift San Antonio, Texas, where they will study them.
