With the recent mild winter weather, the Corps of Engineers contractor has been able to continue the steel repair work below the deck of the Bourne Bridge over the Cape Cod Canal. The contractor is moving along with repairs on the Bourne Bridge and is installing access staging under the center span over the canal. The Corps will continue to work on the Bourne Bridge this winter to minimize disruptions to traffic and recreational activities later in the summer season.
