Texas Military Forces Adjutant General Maj. Gen. John Nichols hands over command of the 36th Infantry Division to Maj. Gen. James K. Brown during a change of command ceremony at Camp Mabry, Austin, Texas, Saturday, Jan. 21, 2011. The symbolic passing of the division colors signifies the beginning of Brown’s command. The ceremony also marked the end of the historic deployment for the 36th Inf. Div. in support of Operation New Dawn.
