Sgt. Maj. Thomas Gills, Department of Army G-1 sergeant major, heads a board of directors conference of adjutant general sergeants majors on January 25. The senior enlisted leaders, representing several major Army commands, held their meeting at Ft. Devens to coincide with Silver Scimitar 2012. The annual training exercise brings together the active Army, Army National Guard and U.S. Army Reserve to practice their skills with a diverse group of instructors, well versed in the latest technology, tools and doctrine. The event is the only exercise for the Adjutant General Corps and provides critical training for human resources professionals in managing company to theater level personnel operations worldwide.
