Alex Kushnir, the 2nd Marine Aircraft Wing aviation safety officer with 2nd MAW Safety, go over the preflight checklist in the HH-46E aircrew procedure simulator aboard Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point, Jan. 10. Kushnir said the simulator is added practice to the flight hours the Marines get flying the HH-46D SeaKnight, commonly dubbed the Pedro.
