Army Command Sgt. Maj. Bryant C. Lambert, 82nd Airborne Division and Regional Command (South) command sergeant major; Navy Lt. Cmdr. Michelle A Cleveland, NATO Role 3 Multinational Hospital director of administration; Army Command Sgt. Maj. Thomas R. Capel, the former 82nd Airborne Division and incoming International Security Assistance Force command sergeant major; and Navy Master Chief Petty Officer Keith Staples, NATO Role 3 Multinational Hospital master chief, pose in front of the flags in the lobby of the hospital on Kandahar Airfield, Jan. 17. The tour of the facility was part of Capel's three-day visit, which was geared towards learning more about the mission in RC(S), as well as meeting with soldiers and senior enlisted service members to gain a better appreciation for their challenges and successes in the region. His major emphasis to service members at every level was the importance of putting Afghans in the lead by encouraging them to conduct more and more missions, training and operations independent of NATO forces.
