Service members salute to reveille prior to the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. 5K run/walk here Jan. 16. More than 1,000 service members, Department of Defense contractors and civilians participated in the 5K event held by Area Support Group-Kuwait in observance of MLK Day. Through events like this, ASG-K is able to bring the community together to honor King’s legacy, raise esprit de corps, and build stronger bonds between service members.
