Technicians from Marine All Weather Fighter Attack Squadron 121 do tests on several F/A-18 Hornet jets at Marine Corps Air Station Kaneohe Bay before takeoff Tuesday. The crews are in Hawaii to support Lava Viper, a predeployment exercise held at Pohakuloa Training Area on the Island of Hawaii. “It’s been amazing, there’s perfect weather out here. Hawaii has prefect conditions for working with jets,” said Cpl. John Robert Mahoney, aircraft communications/navigations technician, VMFA-121.
