A rigid hull inflatable boat from U.S. Coast Guard Cutter Monomoy (WPB-1326), transports three Iranian mariners to Iranian Coast Guard vessel Naji 7. Monomoy rendered assistance to six Iranian mariners, who had to abandon their dhow, Ya Hussayn, after its engine room flooded. Monomoy is assigned to Commander, Task Force 55, supporting maritime security operations and theater security cooperation efforts in the U.S. 5th Fleet area of responsibility.
