An Iranian mariner gives a thumbs up while aboard U.S. Coast Guard Cutter Monomoy (WPB-1326). Monomoy rendered assistance to six Iranian mariners, who had to abandon their dhow, Ya-Hussayn, after its engine room flooded. Monomoy is assigned to Commander, Task Force 55, supporting maritime security operations and theater security cooperation efforts in the U.S. 5th Fleet area of responsibility.
