Army Sgt. Julissa Matute drops a flower into the grave of Spc. Sean Michael Walsh, her friend and battle mate in Afghanistan with the California Army National Guard's 870th Military Police Company. Walsh died Nov. 16 by indirect fire. He was laid to rest Dec. 3 at Oak Hill Cemetery in San Jose, Calif., two days after Matute returned home.
