Leroy Ontiberos (right) during a small military honors ceremony in Austin, Texas, Tuesday, Dec. 27, 2011. Bunch and Wells pinned the Meritorious Service Medal, the Legion of Merit and the Purple Heart on Ontiberos as several members of his family and friends observed the military ritual. Prior to the ceremony, Allen Bergeron, a representative from the Employer Support of the Guard/Reserve committee, presented a plaque to his longtime civilian employer for his continued support.
