Marines with Team 1, Border Adviser Team 1, patrol through the desert while Afghan security forces pass by during Operation Eagle Hunt. The Marines worked more as a quick reaction back-up force than actually conducting partnered patrols for the Afghan-led operation. The Marines conducted their own security patrols near their compound and interacted with local residents in the area while they waited to provide support in case the ABP needed them.
