Col. Paul Murphy, 305th Air Mobility Wing commander originally from Boston, Mass., exits one of the 12 KC-10 Extenders after having piloted the aircraft during the ‘Elephant Walk’ exercise here, Dec. 20. An ‘Elephant Walk’ is a fundamental training element when preparing for global strike missions. The ‘Elephant Walk’ is a display of air power showcasing the 305th AMW’s contributions to Air Mobility Command. Members of the 32nd and 2nd Air Refueling Squadrons, as well as members from the 514th Air Mobility Wing, participated in the Employment Defense and Global Engagement exercise.
