The CPIC, lead by the Third Army/ARCENT public affairs team, facilitated dozens of media personnel who flew to Kuwait to cover the end of Operation New Dawn. Third Army facilitated the redeployment, repositioning and retrograde of more than 50,000 personnel, 28,000 pieces of rolling stock and 800,000 non-rolling items.
