Master Chief Petty Officer of the Navy visited with sailors assigned to Naval Mobile construction Battalion, Task Force Forager Dec. 7, 2011. MCPON Rick D. West sends his holiday message to the sailors assigned aboard Kandahar Airfield. Sailors from NMCB 1 “The First and The Finest” listen to West’s guidance and answers to questions. NMCB 1 is currently deployed to Afghanistan in support of executing general engineering, infrastructure construction and project management in support of Operation Enduring Freedom.
