Maj. Gen. Jeffrey S. Buchanan, Director of Strategic Effects and spokesperson for United States Forces-Iraq, visited Third Army/ARCENT's Command Press Information Center here Dec. 4. The CPIC will serve as an area where media outlets can work as they provide coverage of the reposturing of troops from Iraq. This single movement of troops has been referred to as the world's largest logistical operation since World War II. Buchanan’s visit served to further help facilitate coordination of media operations between USF-I and Third Army.
