Petty Officer 2nd Class Christopher Warren, Naval aircrewman, Detachment 4, Helicopter Anti-Submarine Squadron Light 37, drops his helmet and runs for his wife outside of Hangar 103, Dec. 1. “It was a really good experience,” said Warren, of Florence, Ala. Warren said the detachment was able to work with other countries while on deployment. More than 20 sailors with Detachment 4 returned from their six-month deployment both at Hangar 103 and Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam. The "Easyriders" visited many countries including Thailand, Singapore and the Philippines conducting Cooperation Afloat Readiness and Training exercises and presence operations in the South China Sea and Maritime Domain Awareness fisheries enforcement patrols in the South Pacific. A portion of the detachment met their families at Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam, and the rest landed in two SH-60B Seahawks at Marine Corps Base Hawaii.
