Through an interpreter, Stuart Mesa Elementary School principal Jill Davis talks about education with Maj. Gen. Nabi Jan Mullah Kihl, the deputy commander of the Afghan Uniform Police 707 Regional Headquarters. A delegation of five senior ranking Afghan military and police leaders came to southern California to see how their U.S. counterparts train and work. The visit is also a way to build relationships and trust to lay groundwork for further progress during I MEF (Fwd)'s upcoming deployment.
