Afghan National Security Force senior leaders visit southern California

Col. Abdul Rauf of the Afghan National Army's 215 Corps (left); Maj. Gen. Nabi Jan Mullah Kihl, the deputy commander of the Afghan Uniform Police 707 Regional Headquarters; Maj. Gen. Sayed Malouk, the corps commander for the Afghan National Army 215 Corps; and Col. Aslam, the 215 Corps operations officer, observe Marine recruits training at Camp Pendleton Nov. 30. A delegation of five senior ranking Afghan military and police leaders came to southern California to see how their U.S. counterparts train and work. The visit is also a way to build relationships and trust to lay groundwork for further progress during I MEF (Fwd)'s upcoming deployment.
