Senior Afghan National Security Force leaders meet with Afghan role players during a tour of the Infantry Immersion Trainer at Camp Pendleton Nov. 30. The IIT was designed to recreate the sights, smells and sounds of a deployed environment. A delegation of five senior ranking Afghan military and police leaders came to southern California to see how their U.S. counterparts train and work. The visit is also a way to build relationships and trust to lay groundwork for further progress during I MEF (Fwd)'s upcoming deployment.
