Recruits from Company D cross the monkey bars during the confidence course Nov. 21 at Marine Corps Recruit Depot San Diego. The confidence course is an integrated event designed to help recruits overcome their fears by completing a series of challenging obstacles. After exhausting their muscles by crossing the monkey bars, recruits have to perform one pull-up.
