Capt. Peter D. McGrath shows Marines the proper firing position for the M9 service pistol here Nov. 15. McGrath is the executive officer for Hotel Battery, 3rd Battalion, 12th Marine Regiment, 3rd Marine Division, III Marine Expeditionary Force. McGrath instructed the Marines on the proper grip and body position to be successful during pistol qualification. The battalion conducted a pistol range as part of Artillery Relocation Training Program 11-3.
