U.S. Air Force airmen assigned to the 70th Medium Truck Detachment set up cots in a tent after completing the first leg of a 7-day convoy Oct. 23, 2011. As bases begin to shrink and personnel support services shut down, the sleeping accommodations for trucker crews become more limited. The team is taking 43 vehicles and 60 passengers more than 1,100 miles through Iraq to transport equipment and supplies out of the country in order to meet the military transition deadline.
