Staff Sgt. Anthony Corica, wire chief, Communications Company, Headquarters Battalion, 1st Marine Division, applies first aid to a simulated casualty during Combat Lifesaver training, Nov. 2. The Marines were taught a variety of life-saving techniques during the weeklong course. Each Marine was tested on the skills taught in the CLS course, and they applied first aid to Marines simulating casualties in stressful situations.
