U.S. Air Force Senior Airman Tanner Dalton, 27th Special Operations Logistics Readiness Squadron fuels apprentice, grips a hose, also called a “dead man” hose, used to initiate and halt refueling of aircraft on the flightline at Cannon Air Force Base, N.M., Oct. 18. The refueling process varies in time depending on the load capacity of the aircraft in need of service.
