Last Marines leave Iraq in support of Operation New Dawn

Iraqi Marine Training Team Three stands in formation during a ceremony, while Col. The IqMTT-3 was the last group of United States Marines in Iraq supporting Operation New Dawn. The Marine Corps concluded major operations in 2010. U.S. military forces entered Iraq starting in 2003 in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom.
